Quality of Kilt Our cloth comes directly from Scotland's main weaving mills - Lochcarron, House of Edgar, Strathmore and D.C. Dalgleish - established for many generations and are renowned for their high quality.

The making of your Kilt Once you have chosen your tartan, we advise on pleating either to set, the most common, or to stripe. This is more generally associated with pipe bands and militay Kilts whereby a single line is matched on each pleat. Your kilt will be finished with waist and hip heavy duty buckles.

We require the following information and measurements when mail ordering:

Jacket Style and Cloth, Height plus: 1-2 Collar seam to waistline at back 3 Around chest (Do not add anything to this measurement) 4 Around natural waist 5 Around seat 6 Crown to cuff. Ideally measured with a jacket on for accuracy. 1-7 Full length of jacket at back

Kilt Tartan and Quality/Weight Plus: 8 Waist, natural snug over shirt 9 Hipbone to base of Kilt. Kilt is normally worn with the bottom reaching the top of the knee cap. Often measured 1" above the ground when kneeling erect. We will add a rise of 2" to this unless specified. The total length of the kilt will therefore be measurement 9 plus 2". 10 Seat at broadest position (loose over trousers)

All above measurements when supplied are taken as correct and will be adhered to when producing the goods. We cannot take responsibility for items not fitting due to incorrect measurements.
