Doing Assisted Pullups to Improve Your Back Strength
If you are not strong enough to do regular pullups then you need to be doing assisted pullups. These types of pullups can either be done in a gym or in your home if you have the proper equipment. A free standing pull up bar and a resistance band is all you will need to do them in your own home gym. There are large rubber bands made specifically for this. They simple attach to the bar and then you place your leg in them. The stretchiness of the bands will help you up to the bar. Don’t assume that just because they are assisted, they are easy because this is not the case. You can make them as difficult or as easy as you wish by performing more or less reps. If you are struggling with doing chin-ups or pullups, you should consider using assisted methods to help you improve.
